Yerevan Brandy Company (Ararat Brandy) is the leading company (both in volume of production and export) that produces alcoholic beverages in Armenia; especially its brandy is well-known in the world and contributing the fame of Armenia as “the fairyland of the world-famous Armenian brandy”. It was established in 1887 a wealthy Armenian and since then, it has received international recognition. The particular event for the brandy to get famous to the res to the world is reception of Grand-Prix during the International Exhibition in Paris in 1900, which led it to have the legal right to be called “cognac”. It is located on a high plateau of one end of the Victory Bridge in Yerevan (On the other end can be found Yerevan Wine Factory). The destination of its supply includes 25 countries.
